WEEK 5
Our bible story this week was about Noah. The children heard the story of how God told Noah the whole world was sinning and he was bringing a great flood. He told Noah to take 2 of every animal and build a giant Ark for his family and the animals. They learned about the rainbow being God's promise to never flood the whole world again.
The theme is Noah, the animals and a beautiful rainbow.
They really loved the sensory table this week. I filled it with blue water, little boats, people, and animals. It helps the children with fine motor skills, sharing and communicating with their peers.
In art:

For math and language development the kiddos worked on Noah's Ark puzzles, they played a matching game of characters from the bible story.
The students worked on number recognition and counting by using a Noah's Ark file folder.
We played with 2 Fisher Price Noah's Ark toys to help with language and social skills.
We had our first Chapel in the church this week. They did a great job listening. Twice a month we will go to the church for chapel and the other 2 Mrs. Baker will come to our classroom. We have chapel every week on 3 different days.
