WEEK 22

Our bible story this week was about wind and fire. We talked about the day of Pentecost when the wind came to the disciples and there appeared little flames of fire above their heads. The disciples then began talking in different languages. The children thought that would be so funny.

The theme of the week was the color Red. We talked about so many things that are red and why they might be that color. They searched for things in the classroom that are the color red.

In the sensory table we had white rice and buried in the rice were red hearts and red crosses.

The kiddos learned about Groundhog day. They played a matching game a did a coloring sheet.

For a fun math and small motor skill activity the kiddos counted red noodles, beads, and buttons. After they counted them we had them work on sliding the objects onto red pipe cleaners.
