WEEK 24

We continued our bible story from last week about the good Samaritan. Talking about being a good helper and caring for others when they are down can never be talked about enough. 

Our theme this week was Valentines Day !!!!! the kiddos had fun playing little game doing crafts and listening to books all about LOVE !!!!!

Instead of sensory we worked on fine motor skills this week. I gave each student a pink pipe cleaner and a handful of heart buttons. The job was to string the buttons on the pipe cleaner.

We did a STEAM project this week. We counted candy conversation hearts (they decided 5 in each bottle) and put them in 4 of the 5 bottles. In the bottles were rubbing alcohol, soda, vinegar, water and air. We talked about watching to see what will happen with each bottle and the candy inside. 

During Chapel on Wednesday Mrs. Baker had every child "baptize" a beany baby. They loved it. They said "Jesus loves you" to each one.
