WEEK 6

Our bible story this week was about David and Goliath. The children learned that God was with David and protected him from the giant just as he protects us. The story teaches us about courage.

Our theme was Big and Little this week. We worked on finding and recognizing things that are big and little trough games, books, matching and reading.

For sensory this week the students played with floam. They used their hands to mold and form whatever their imagination wanted them to.

In art:

painted a rock (like David's)

made a picture of a slingshot with pom-poms (rocks)

painted and Elephant and Mouse gray

made David and Goliath puppets

We practiced matching and counting with bears

The kiddos worked on a file folder matching pictures of things that are big and little.

The children were given items that were big and little and then asked to place them in a big circle and a little circle
